  • I was a Dental Tech stationed aboard the USS Oriskany during the 1966 WestPac Cruise and  I began this site with only my Life Magazine article of the fire to share. As you can see, it has grown considerably since 2004. Be sure to check back often as I am still adding items .
     

  • I've had a copy of the Life Magazine article that tells the story of the fire we suffered on October 26th, 1966 all these years and I wanted to share this article with you.
